The casting number is 3970010, now according to the chart this engine can be a 302/327/ or a 350 . my question is is there any way to figure out what it is without knowing the stroke, thanks. Based on the suffix TJA I found it is one of two motors. 1973, 160hp conversion cab truck, or 1979, 165hp forward cab w/ AT. Based on the 3998991 heads (1972/1973) I would think it is the 160HP model.
