Hkparts has barrels with cetme flutes and hk outside dimensions. This means you can use hk part to have better sights and get a more reliable chamber. Thats what I was looking for. So 30$ more was worth it to me. If I was just using cetme parts I would have gone with the apex barrel.RCM G3, G3K and other HK profile barrels are easily available, All can be used with cetme parts. You would be better off buying a Century C308 if you want a Cetme style rifle. Where I think the cetme kits shine are building custom stuff like G3K and hk51 pistols. The cetme 50 degree locking piece will work with these lengths.

These at some point will probably dry up. Get the barrel and flat if you can.
