Feb 15, 2023 · Dometic thermostat E1 With both a/c units running, and no power interruption, my Dometic thermostat flipped code E1 for both units and shutdown. Went through the troubleshooting process and it will turn the units back on for about a minute before throwing the E1 code and shutting down the units.About the only other thing to do is check the wiring at the thermostat and the wiring from the thermostat to the circuit board inside the AC unit. What you may want to do is see if a mobile RV tech is in the area, if you do an online search RV mobile repair and the zip code you are at you should get a listing of techs in your area.My 5 button duotherm started with FF code. Did the reset turning the therm off an golding down mode an zone then turning on and releasING buttons. It reset couple times then went to an EE code and wouldn't reset. Dometic said the cable/rg connectors were bad or the AC circuit board. Rarely the thermastat goes bad.
