Not my experience, half-decent "sloths" ( 10 k hp - 350 % melee base ) + 60 armor saddles rush through broodmother without loosing much health. Thus they heal much faster then Rexes with 20 k+ hp and can be filled with berries - have a bronto near swamp and its a thing of few minutes. The Infected Broodmother is an extraordinarily strong variant of the Hedge Broodmother boss and by far the hardest boss encounter in the game. She is found in the spider cave in the Haze, located in a trench under the stepping stone near the garden lamp in the area.
