I think the 1UZ is a great choice too but it's only a bit easier than the LS swap. The LS has more power potential. It's smaller than the 1UZ too. The 1UZ just barely fits the IS300's engine bay. The exhaust manifolds are scarily close to the steering rack. They around 700hp is the limit of the stock 1jz gte motor before stronger rods and pistons but not sure about the crank specifically. Edit: engine type.
