The quizzes and in class problems are very easy. The first test was all multiple choice and then second was MC with free response questions. You need to study hard if you want to do well.

Smolinksy is absolutely the best Calc 2 professor at LSU. There are 4 tests and a final, all of which are curved a hefty amount. There are 33 Webassign homeworks which are worth 24% of your grade so do all of them well, he drops only 3. The grading scale lowered so a 60 is a C-, on top of the curved tests.I mainly studied from the book but the exams are 50% notes 50% lecture.
