Face it Cloud is a gaming icon and has appered in lots of games while mario has only appeared in 2 games sunshine and 64 ~xSlashbomBx.The Pontiff's Right Eye counts each sword connect as an attack, even though one button input provides 2 sword swings, which means you can reach max stacks at the 2nd or 3rd dual attack. Therefore, when you dual swing the Sellsword Twinblades with a proper build, you can end up dealing 2000 or so damage in 1-2 seconds.
