KP9: much more lefty-friendly than the HK slap. The Kp9 has an overall easier manual of arms. This is coming from a guy with AKs and ARs. Mp5 magazines fully loaded are much more difficult to insert on a closed bolt. You can train around it, but new users tend to like the manual of arms of the Kp9 more. This gun is not made by Century. They are simply the importer similar to the deal with the WASR-10, AES-10B RPK, and PSL where those are made by Cugir in Romania but imported by Century.
