For fun and good roll catching i sugest giant hunt the angle/lag sometimes makes it not hit, but if they spam roll after getting hit you can catch them very consistently ... so you can have a sacred godskin peeler with giant hunt with no drawbacks even though giant hunt is inherently heavy as long as you have the whetblade for holy infusion ... Rivers is only good for its art. The weapon art and reach make up for the lower stats imo. For godskin in particular id use peeler + any other bleed twinblade and rely on jump attacks for the 4x bleed procs. Elenaors polearm springs to mind.
