After several drive cycles, the warning remains lit so i hook up jscan and got the code P00FD which implies the new AUX battery is falling below voltage threshold during cranking. Cleared the code and start the car again and the code came back.After starting the Jeep all the codes went away, it was able to shift into 4wd again and life was great. Then after sitting for a few days in the driveway I started it up and got and engine light. The Jeep wouldn't let me shift into reverse and a message saying put vehicle in park then select gear.
