Nov 1st, 2023. FSU is an excellent school for a specific type of person. If you are big into gym culture/sports, party culture, and white/Hispanic life is great at FSU. However, if you are only one or none of these things, it can be tough. The financial aid they offer can't be beat, and there are great research and travel opportunities.Markk Carson. Markk. Carson. He makes lectures fun and it is apparent by how many people return to class. However, this course is exam HEAVY. 90% of your grade is just from exams, and the notes didn't do much help for me. Professor Walker is young and new to the university. His lectures are long but there is almost always an in-class assignment assigned in the middle of his lecture. The assignments aren't hard, you just have to go to class to complete them and get the credit! There are only 2 tests, midterm and final.I was at an 89.3 and he emailed me telling me hed round my grade up to a 90 and that I wouldnt have to take the final.
