The Department of Natural Resources and the Natural Resources Commission have approved a new set of deer hunting regulations that will apply to the 2023, 2024 and 2025 seasons, the DNR said.Baiting and Feeding Regulations. Baiting and feeding are banned in the Lower Peninsula. In areas where baiting is banned, scents placed to entice deer, whether composed of natural or synthetic materials, must be placed so that they are inaccessible for consumption by deer and placed in such a manner to prohibit any physical contact with deer.Year-round hunting and trapping seasons 2023-2024.
